Track Benefits — Privacy Policy & Support

Last updated: September 2026

Need help, or have a question? Email trackbenefits@gmail.com — that reaches the developer directly. This covers anything about the app: a bug, a missing or incorrect benefit, a feature request, or a general question. You can also reach the same address from inside the app itself, via "Report an issue," "Report a missing benefit," or "Report incorrect information" on any benefit's detail screen.

The short version: Track Benefits stores your card and redemption information on your own device, optionally synced across your own devices through your own iCloud account. There is no company server that collects, stores, or has access to your personal data. The app doesn't use analytics, advertising trackers, or any third-party data collection of any kind.

What information the app stores

When you use Track Benefits, the app stores the following on your device:

None of this requires you to create an account, provide an email address, or sign in to anything within the app itself.

Where this information lives

This data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you have iCloud enabled, it also syncs across your own devices using Apple's CloudKit service, tied to your own Apple ID. This sync happens entirely within your personal iCloud account — the developer of Track Benefits has no access to this data, no ability to view it, and no copy of it on any server. Apple's own iCloud privacy practices govern that part of the process, not this app directly.

If you delete the app, your locally stored data is removed from that device. If iCloud sync was enabled, your data may still exist in your personal iCloud account until you remove it there as well.

The benefit catalog

Track Benefits downloads a shared, public reference catalog of card benefits (card names, fees, and benefit details) to keep that information current. This is a plain data file — the request doesn't include your name, your cards, or any information that identifies you. Everyone using the app receives the exact same file.

Reporting a missing or incorrect benefit

If you use the "Report a missing benefit" or "Report incorrect information" features, the app opens your device's own Mail app with a pre-filled draft. Sending that email is entirely up to you, and it's sent directly from your own email account to the developer — the app itself doesn't collect, transmit, or store anything from this feature on its own.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, reminders about upcoming benefit deadlines are scheduled locally on your device based on your own data. No remote push notification service or third party is involved in generating or sending these.

What this app does not do

Children's privacy

Track Benefits is intended for adults managing their own credit card accounts and is not directed at children. The app does not knowingly collect information from children.
